Blogs order their entries latest-first. So you should start reading with the last entry... :)
The right column of your profile contains the content you add to your aniwai profile.
There are two main sections: Blogs and Galleries. For information on those please read the specific instructions. Also your latest blog entry will be displayed on top of the right column of your profile. That makes it easy for visitors of your profile to see how up-to-date your profile is and to keep track of the latest changes
You can send messages to other aniwai users and the other way round.
Sending messages
To send a message to another aniwai user click on the "send message" link on their profile. Use the form on the following page to write the message and click on send.
You are allowed to send messages to all aniwai users, no matter whether they are friends of yours or not.
Receiving messages
If someone sends you a message you'll get an email notification (as long as you didn't change your email settings). Messages are stored in your aniMail box. Click on the link on your profile page to get to your aniMail box.
To read the message just click on the title. Unread messages are displayed bold.
To delete messages check the checkbox in front of its title and click on the "remove selected" button
Blocking users
If you receive a lot of spam or unwanted messages from a certain user you should block him/her. You can do so by visiting their profile and clicking on the link "block user" below their portrait picture. However, you should consider it well before you do so, it is rather rude.
Sending a friend request
When you visit the profile pages of other aniwai users (aniMates) you can add them to your list of friends by clicking the link "add to friends" (below the portrait) on their profile site. A message will be automatically sent to the user containing a friend request of yours.
If the user accepts you as a friend your profiles will be linked and he will be added to your friends list. All friends of yours are listed in the friends box in the left column of your profile page. By clicking on a picture or name you'll get to the profile of your friend.
If the user denies your friend request you won't receive any message and you won't be able to send another friend request.
Receiving a friend request
It also works the other way round: If another aniwai user sends you a friend request you will get a message by email (as long as you didn't change your email settings on the edit your profile page) and on your profile page there will be a link "friend requests". Click on this link and you'll be shown who asks for your friendship and you can either "add" or "deny" the friend request.
Removing a friend
You can remove people from your list of friends by visiting their profile and clicking on the link "remove from friends" just below their profile picture. However, you should consider it well before you do so, it is rather rude.
The first step was finding me I guess... You can always remove me from your friends list by clicking on the link 'remove from friends' when visiting my profile.
By clicking on the link "edit your profile" in the left column of your profile page (below the portrait picture) you'll get to a page where you can personalize your aniwai profile and settings.
The left column on the 'edit profile' page contains information about you that will be displayed on your aniwai profile page. Here you can add or change your portrait picture, give details about your whereabouts and information about your hobbies and interests.
The right column contains general profile settings. Most of the data that you find here you already gave when you joined aniwai. Here you can change personal information such as your name and address, nick name or password. Also other settings can be modified, which is quite self explaining.
To save the changes you made please click on the save button on the bottom of the page...
