Blogs order their entries latest-first. So you should start reading with the last entry... :)

2007-08-17 | How to organize your galleries

We suggest that you organize your pictures the following way:
Create a new main gallery for a whole journey (or maybe country if you travel more countries at once).
Later on we will offer the possibility to create sub-galleries within the main galleries. Create a sub-gallery for every spot within a country you visit if you take a couple of pictures there...
On your profile page there will only be the links to the main gallery and its sub-galleries (with title pics).
Geo-link your pictures to make them available to other users by searching map on the aniwai.com front page.

2007-08-17 | Webspace limitation: 50MB

You should keep in mind, that the maximum webspace you get by joining aniwai.com are 50MB. Unfortunately we have to limit the webspace (at least at the moment) because aniwai.com is a non-profit community and we simply can't afford to provide more webspace...

2007-08-17 | About pictures/media data

As I said before you can add pictures to a gallery simply by clicking on "add picture" in the "gallery" tab. In fact it is not only pictures you can add but also all kinds of media data, meaning video or audio files as well. However, so far aniwai.com doesn't provide applications to view those files. But we plan to offer the possibility rather soon...

2007-08-17 | The gallery page

Here you find a couple of tabs that allow you to edit your gallery: Click on a tab to show its content

gallery: your gallery. All pictures and files that are in the gallery are displayed here. On top of the tab there are options such as "add picture", "copy", "cut", "paste" or "delete". Just check out the functions. You need to select the pictures you would like to be affected by these actions.

picture viewer: Here you can browse through your pictures and fill in details for them

map: a google-maps client that allows you to connect your media data with a position

gallery options: Here you can change the settings and information you applied on the gallery when you created it. Also you can choose a title picture (which will be displayed on your profile) or delete the whole gallery.
