2009-08-05 | New Server

Dear Globetrotters,

say good-bye to out-of-memory problems! I finally managed to upgrade our server hardware. We now have a new and shiny machine serving our pictures and blogs to the whole virtual world.

Keep travelling

2009-04-12 | Happy Easter!

We wish all our members and visitors a Happy Easter.

2008-12-26 | Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you.

2008-09-05 | State of the map

Now, a year since our opening has gone by. We're still there.

Sadly, other projects still have caused delay to completion of the improvements that have been mentioned (like aniwhere). Problems with our server that had to be fixed in time haven't helped either.

Aniwai, I believe that the community is and will be our strength - with its thousands of articles, media, and all the blogs. To all those out there that aren't members of aniwai.com yet: Join us and get part this great community!

See you,
Erich

2008-06-10 | Smooth destinations

There have been only few news articles in the last month. Nevertheless, we’ve worked behind the scenes to further improve aniwai.com. Here’s a small status update:

  • The maps are much smoother now and don’t flicker anymore.
  • Erich is working on aniwhere that will bring aniwai.com onto your mobile phone. More details will be published upon release.
  • The improved galleries with drag-and-drop support are nearly finished.
  • A new starting page is in the works.

2008-01-06 | Happy new year

Even though a week has passed since New Year's Day we'd like to wish you all a happy new 2008! We'd like to thank all our members for their support and we hope to see more in the new year.

Some presents

You might have already noticed the most obvious change: a neat new "Terrain" map layer that shows a map relief. We have been working hard behind the scenes and there are some really cool new features on the way:

  • new title page with a larger map
  • new gallery pages with drag and drop and other great improvements
  • better interaction of blogs and gallery
  • and more
