Centurion is a city in Gauteng, South Africa.

History

Previously known as Verwoedburg. The first Anglo-Boer war took place at Rooihuiskraal. The second Anglo-Boer war took place at Irene. Centurion developed from a little township called Lyttelton. Centurion is now apart of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.
